Jail Ministry
“Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” (Luke 4:18)
Dave Turner has the privilege of going to the Kenton County Detention Center to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Men. This consists of a weekly service which gives them hope, love, and the truth of God’s Word. They sing, laugh, and cry because Jesus has been so faithful. He is there when they show up. They also have the privilege of experiencing His unconditional love for them and are growing and learning about who God is and who they are. We are weak but He is strong!
